Shipping Information

Shipping

  • Your credit card will not be charged until order is shipped. We will send you a confirmation email that will have the UPS tracking number.
  • Orders shipped within 2 - 3 days. If an item has to be backordered we will notify you.
  • We strive to hold back orders to a minimum. But we will ship your backordered items as soon as we can, there will be no freight charges on back order.
  • All orders are shipped via UPS and are bound by their schedule. We require a street address for all shipments; UPS can not ship to a PO Box.
  • Delivery time varies depending on your location.
  • If you have any special shipping requirements please call customer service during business hours or email us at customerservice@boltonhardware.com.
  • Any order placed over the weekend will be processed the next business day.
  • We will never provide any information about you or your credit card number to third parties.
  • California State residents will be charged sales tax of 9.75%, unless proof of tax exemption is provided.
  • Shipping is quoted per order; your actual shipping cost will be included on your checkout page.
Returns

  • An RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number must be obtained before any product can be returned for any reason, please call customer service for number.
  • Please check your order a soon as possible, all shortages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
  • You have 14 days to return an item. All returned items must be in their original boxes and in unused re-saleable condition. A restocking charge of 20% will be applied. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • The customer shall pay all freight on returns, even if there is a defect in product or an error on our part. If an item is damaged or has a defect we will ship another at our own expense, or issue a full refund including return shipping cost, upon return of the item.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account only after receipt of returned items.
  • No returns or credit on any left over hardware due to over ordering or for any other reason on quoted projects.
  • Orders over $200 received free ground shipping. If a order is completely or partially returned and the total becomes less than $200, a $20 handling charge will be deducted from credits or refunds.
